Cycling for Change Initiative
Cycling 4 Change (C4C) is a permanent Malachi Foundation initiative that aims to raise money through harnessing our love for the sport of cycling. The funds that are pledged by you, the donor, are put into action to support local NPCs in the area that are doing God’s work, so doing sustainably effecting positive change in our local communities.

C4C INITIATIVE
Karoo Crusade
A team of 5 guys cycling a 5 day tour starting 29 Nov to raise funds for other local NPC’s in George and also most importantly for youth workers that they employ, already have 2 this year, that are full time working in schools in George to assist school kids with their wellbeing, from a christian basis.
C4C will be the permanent initiative, the yearly cycling event will probably have different names, this year is ‘Karoo Crusade’.
Karoo Crusade 2023
The Karoo Crusade was a cycling challenge that took place between 29 November – 3 December as part of our greater C4C initiative.
On 29 November, five friends embarked on a five-day, 800km cycling tour to raise funds for other local NPC’s in the George area, and more importantly, to support youth workers employed at their schools who assist school kids with their wellbeing, from a christian basis.
After raising R430,000 for 2023, the goal was to raise R800,000 for 2024. Thanks to generous community pledges, to date the team has already secured more than R450 000.
